What you’ll need

  • 1-gallon Pressure Sprayer – Amazon
  • Maxsea 16:16:16 –  Available from our website. here

In the pressure sprayer mix

  • 1 cup Maxsea 16:16:16
  • Fill with water (leave gap at top for air pressure)

How to use

  • Pump up the sprayer.
  • Spray it on the leaves and into the felt pockets.
  • In temperate climates only feed plants in the spring and summer.

Tips

  • The brownish water of the plant food mixture will drip down from the leaves.
  • Place towels below your plants to make cleanup easy.

Natural Pest Control

What you need

  • 1-gallon Pressure Sprayer – Amazon
  • Natural Dish Soap – Amazon
  • Lemongrass Essential Oil – Amazon

In the bottle mix

  • 1 tablespoon Natural Dish Soap
  • 20 drops Lemongrass Essential Oil

How to use

  • Spray leaves with an intense spray.
  • Dislodge any pests attached to the leaves.
  • Repeat every 3 days to stop the pest life-cycle.
  • Use monthly to keep pests away.
  • Spray the felt intensely to clean and remove deposits.

Tips

  • If you see pests, spray and also wipe them away. Once they are dislodged from the leaves they will die. Repeat every 3 days to end their life cycle.
  • The oil mixture will make a nice gloss on the leaves and leave a pleasant smell for a professional finish.

Beneficial Insects

Nematodes are a great way to introduce a type of worm to your soil that will feed on other insect larvae. They attack a wide range of insects and are a proven effective method to reduce problem pests.

  • Beneficial Nematodes (Steinernema Feltiae ) – Amazon

How to use

  • Use a spray bottle or pressure sprayer.
  • Add nematodes pouch to pure water.
  • Allow to move into water. (Follow directions included with nematodes)
  • Spray into soil areas of each pocket.

Tips

  • Do not mix with detergent or oils.
  • Apply separately from pest control application.
  • If you have a plant food injector you can add nematodes to the fertilizer tank.
