A custom Living Wall was installed on the facade of James Snidle Gallery. The custom living wall measures 15′-6″ x 3′-9″ and uses the Full-pockets panels. A wide variety of drought-tolerant full-sun type plants were placed into the 126 pockets. Plant choices include succulents, grasses, woody shrubs, herbs, and california native plants. A Florafelt living wall was installed at the Shippan Show House in Stamford, Connecticut. Victoria Lyon, an Old Greenwich designer, and Robin Horton, an Old Greenwich resident who runs a creative consultation and design firm and writes the blog “Urban Gardens,” teamed up to design the greenhouse and two garden rooms off of the garage. One of the features includes a vertical growing wall by Plants On Walls.
Population Hair Salon on Divisadero Street in San Francisco (NOPA area) asked Plants On Walls to create a lush green jungle experience for their hair washing area. As the clients lean their heads back they will be enveloped in the tropics. Owner, Brian approves of the installation that was completed in one day prior to their soft opening. The entire system is on self-watering drip and drains to a floor drain on the back patio.
Lianne Gold of Neptuna Gallery hosted the display of our newest Floraframe 36-Pocket at her store front on Abbot Kenny Blvd., in Venice Beach (Los Angeles) California. The streets were flooded with visitors for the First Friday where shops are open late and the latest trend of gourmet food trucks line the sidewalks. The living wall display of colorful tropicals made it’s short appearance at Neptuna before being transported to LA Tropicals greenhouse showroom where it will be on view for designers and interior-scapers in the Los Angeles Area.

Before the time of parklets, Parking Day was a way to express parking spots as mini parks, for a day. Mike Leon asked Chris Bribach to bring his early Florafelt vertical garden prototypes for an outdoor street side display. The framed panels were supported by a temporary metal structure and filled with hearty shrubs.
